The Opportunity (Hybrid - Toronto)

We are looking for a Manager, Media Planning (Amazon DSP) to lead the development and execution of data-driven programmatic media strategies across Amazon’s Demand-Side Platform (DSP). This role will oversee media planning, campaign execution, and team development to ensure best-in-class performance and client success.

Your Impact
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of media planners and campaign managers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation while overseeing Amazon DSP campaign execution. Develop training programs, establish best practices, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to build an industry-leading DSP program.
  • Strategic Media Planning & Execution: Design and implement scalable Amazon DSP media plans to maximize reach, engagement, and conversion while defining targeting strategies using first- and third-party data. Guide stakeholders on best practices to enhance brand visibility and sales.
  • Operational Excellence & Process Improvement: Establish and refine workflows to enhance efficiency in campaign planning and execution, standardize reporting frameworks for performance tracking, and explore automation and AI-driven solutions for DSP media planning.
  • Performance Optimization & Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics like ROAS, CTR, and CVR to drive continuous improvement, conduct in-depth data analyses to optimize ad spend, and lead cross-functional meetings to refine media strategies.
  • Client & Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison for clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment on media strategies while partnering with analytics, sales, and creative teams to develop tailored advertising solutions. Stay ahead of Amazon DSP innovations and industry trends to drive strategic growth. 


Your Qualifications
  • Amazon DSP & Programmatic Advertising Expertise: 5+ years of experience in media planning, programmatic advertising, or digital marketing with a strong focus on Amazon DSP, including designing and executing high-performing campaigns, audience segmentation, bidding strategies, and programmatic media buying.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven experience managing and mentoring teams with a focus on performance optimization, professional development, and cross-functional collaboration while influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Advanced proficiency in campaign analytics, Amazon DSP reporting tools, Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), and data visualization platforms, with the ability to interpret data and drive optimization strategies.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Strong ability to convey complex programmatic concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, with experience presenting campaign insights and strategic recommendations to executive teams and clients.

Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with omnichannel programmatic platforms (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360), familiarity with retail media networks and multi-channel advertising strategies, and knowledge of ecommerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing.
